Home owner report:
Five years ago my husband was in Puerto Rico, I was alone and sleeping. My dog, who was sleeping with me, and right around 3 AM the dog started to bark and wake me up. I thought she wanted to go out, so I stood up. When I did this and turned the lights on, in the area of the MA bedroom, I saw somebody hiding behind the wall and looking at me. I saw hair and a sport jumpsuit. I thought it might be family that had gotten into the house, so I called out. The dog started to bark aggressively, and so I called out to people again, and when I got closer, there was no body. I tried to open the door, and the dog didn’t want to go through the hallway out to the house. I got very scared. I turned on every light in the house. That was Thursday. The thing was that my husband was coming back from Puerto Rico. Asked my friend to come and style my hair. I didn’t tell anyone what happened, and I told my friend that we were going to sit down. As I sat there, when all of the sudden she felt a back pain. All of the sudden she stopped and turned around to say that there was a presence right there specifically telling me that there is something in the bedroom that isn’t good and she pointed to the area of the room that I saw the entity. A couple of months later, I was sleeping in the TV room with my husband. I saw an old woman with an Indian blanket walking from the wall, she looked at me, then she came inside the kitchen. After that, another time I was at the computer, and every time that I’m here and working the computer, I feel that there is something that is watching me. One time, I saw this little boy coming out of the hallway and he hid behind the chair. He was wearing black short pants, white with black stripes. Of course, I turned on all of the lights. After that one, we had a situation where I was in the MA bedroom and he was in the TV room, and all of a sudden we heard the garage door slam. I came out and he came out, each of us thinking that the other had done it. The outside garage door was closed. After that, I was coming from the garage again, and when I came here with some groceries, I went to the kitchen, the area was dark. The china cabinet was off when the light came on. It had happened earlier that day with the husband. The only way to turn it off is to touch a spot on the cabinet. I examined the cabinet to see what it was. Nothing was there. I turned it off, went to the kitchen and it turned on again (witnessed by husband). Has not done it before or since.
The last one was recently, but I do feel that something pulls my hair. It’s not in a bad way, but I have felt it before. The last time I was coming from the garage again I saw this young man standing at the fireplace. He was wearing shorts. I thought it was one of the family, but when I looked again, it wasn’t him.
When I told [family member] that the SPIRITS were coming in, he told me: One night I saw a dark figure sitting in the area by the first step. I get chills every time I walk past it. I always rush back to the bedroom. Soft features, very small. It looked like a little boy. Also, I was by myself a couple of weeks ago and I went to work and the lights were off. My aunt had come, did some laundry, told all lights off, doors locked. Came home, kitchen light and laundry light on. I asked, and was told that everything was off.
Before that, my stepbrother and I heard a big commotion in the garage. We heard as if wood was falling in the area of the far right corner. We walked e out there and nothing has fallen. It was a loud noise.
There is a friend of mine whose name was Melcher who was on the track team with me and he committed suicide. He was around 18 – 19 when he passed.
First home owners moved away. The second home owners got divorced, and the husband sold the house and moved. According to neighbors, no one died in the house. Nickelman and Corey. James?
From the wall (right on kitchen) – on that wall are two items from his mother and grandmother. Cast iron pot holders belong to mother. Mother passed in 1977. Mildred or Mickey.
Investigation Notes:
Brandy: EMF is very unusual. Higher than most normal. It’s base reading is a 3.0 whereas most newer houses are .2 - .6. (House was built in the 1980s). Living room: 3. 0; Alex room: 3. 0; Hallway: 3 +; dragon room: 4. 0; drum room: 3. 5; Living room: 3. 8 to 4; Hot spots – 19 0 15 and 20 plus on either side of the entrance to the kitchen. MA Bedroom: 2.8; TV room 15 (large screen TV in the room); kitchen was 15 with little difference between the room and the appliances (very unusual). Laundry: 5 EMF ; Box was a 2.0; outside the a/c and power boxes were normal. No response to any questions.
Brandy's question/initial notes, post investigation (July 30, 2012):
We did an investigation last night in which the base EMF was unusually high on the EMF meters. Three of them registered the base reading between 3.0 to 5.0 (most houses register .2 - .6). This house was built in 1980 (not young, but not new. Normally I find lower EMF in houses built after 1970). I did ask the home owner, who did some remodeling, if the electric was grounded and he said it was. (Normally, readings for ungrounded electric is also higher, but it also tends to fluctuate a bit; most of the readings were fairly steady). We did find that the house had underground wiring, and conduits were on the property between this house and the house next door, which would likely account for higher readings (though through the whole house was strange).
So, since the EMF was so high I tried something a bit different. Using a trifield meter, of which I am a huge advocate and have used with the SPIRITS for at least 12 years (personally for 10), I would ask the "Is anyone present? If so, please make the EMF meter spike. Is anyone present? If so, please make the EMF meter drop." I would include explanation and instruction with the request, and I did this in every major room. We got no response.
During the EVP session, however, we had some very strange readings. This only happened in one session (we did 3). Both trifield meters were present (mine and another team member's). For two questions we had, as best as I can describe, a "reverse spike" on the meters. The EMF was reading 3.0 to 3.5. It actually dropped .5 (on mine) on two questions: "Are you the entity that communicated with [a sensitive]?" "Are you lonely?" (which was one of the messages conveyed to the sensitive earlier). It did not drop at any other time. Two of the three home owners were standing in the doorway watching us. The third was in another room but watching television but did not turn anything on or off, etc. The EMF did NOT change at any other time and the questions were asked with uneven time intervals (not really a timed event). BOTH meters registered the shift at the same time and only twice on those questions. A MEL meter showed no change, though the spikes were quick.
I have done this for a long time (15 years now??). I have done MANY readings. I am not a sensitive, and I have used the Trifield meter for a long time. I have seen it do MANY things, but this reverse spike is unusual. Any ideas as to what might have caused it? I'm trying to figure this one out!
