In honor of Hallowe'en 2011, we present to you one of the most classic unhappy ghost hauntings that the SPIRITS has had. Due to the circumstances of the case, we can only disclose partial information in order to keep client confidentiality.
The location in question was the place of a homicide. The industrial building was a place of business. During one period of time, two men lived in the building. A fight ensued and one stabbed the other to death. The building turned over to new renters with another busines. One night, the owner was working with a couple of associates a gunman came in and opened fire. At least one died instantly at his hands. After the police investigation the building was released. New renters came in. They discovered a grisley scene: blood and bullets from the original crime scene remained behind; no one had cleaned it up. They removed the mess, rennovated the building, and moved their business in. However, the memory of the violence persisted. So did the restless spirits of the building.
Much of the activity centered around those who worked and stayed in the building late at night. Shadows were seen and cold spots felt. The family dog would attack empty air. Voices, whistles, and whispers echoed through the building. Electronics acted up.
The SPIRITS investigated the building two times. In each instance, sensitives were the most helpful to getting information. Several determined information about the deceased that was later verified through research. Equipment did behave oddly. This was one case where the Paranormal Puck, an instrument that can be debated as to its accuracy, did behave in a rather unique manner. Though it would prattle on randomly, when the team paused, an explaination of the device was given, and questions were asked, the Puck responded in a unique manner. After specific questions, the Puck would pause, produce a word, and pause again. The pauses were so evident that they were documented in the reports. Words such as "justice" and "crossover" were the results of these pauses.
A couple of EVPs did produce whsipered effects. The building was totally quiet during the sessions and so was the team. Everyone was gathered in one place and no one spoke at the time. One recording had soft whispers in the background. The other is posted with this page, though secondary electronic transmission hampers the whispered sounds caught on recording.
The SPIRITS did advise the business owners to work wtih the entities in a compassionate manner. It was also advised that they longer that they stayed in the building the more their energies woudl embue the structure. We did offer to find someone to cleanse the building, but our clients declined the service.
Months after the investigation the newspaper published an article announcing the capture of the man who attacked. He went to trial and was found guilty. It is our hope that this also allowed the entities inside to find both justice some well deserved peace.
We have not heard from the business owners again. It is our hope that they, too, have found some peace within the building and continue to work successfully within.

The Paranormal Puck came up with several interesting phrases. I would explain its function in each room and then ask the entity to use the puck to answer questions. I set the Puck to constant mode. When I would go into a room, the Puck would "talk" at random. When I would explain directions, the Puck stopped "chatting". When I asked a question, it would pause, say 1 word, then pause, and continue. Examples include: Loft -- "What message do you have to pass on?" Answer: Justice. Another time, with the same question, it was "Crossover". It also came up with "Problem Pet" (the family dog reacts badly to something in the area). When we were up in the apt. area, my computer froze when I was typing about our experiment with the sword. Someone in the area had been stabbed to death; homeowners put up a wooden sword in the room where the individual died. One investigator had a sword provided by the home owner in hand. When I typed sensitives' response to this (they felt uncomfortable, despite our investigator being on the team and holding a wooden sword, standing on the opposite side of the room, etc.) and the investigator, himself, added that the entity would not like him, the computer froze. I could see the screen but could not type anything. When the computer "unfroze" the phrase "He would not like me" was highlighted in black, with the font in white, for about 5 seconds before the text reverted to normal. The EVP and experiment in the upstairs apartment got no results. The EVP in the downstairs area, in the room where two men had been killed, resulted in a possible EVP. In two places on the 9 minute recording there are sounds similar to whispers. The first is so faint that I am not sure that it will translate via computer. The second is audible to the ear without modification. Our sensitive is describing a child that belongs to one of the deceased. I asked "What is the child's name?" and she whispered "I don't know". However, after that there sounds like more whispering. No one in the room was speaking and I am not sure where the sound might have come from.

A ton. Site had three deaths which were documented via various reports. Police case is still on-going for one suspect; the other was caught and is serving time.

Need to see what happens after there is an anniversary of the killings (1 year anniversary). I suspect activity may increase and then, hopefully, decrease. Owners need to work on making the place their own; possible blessing. I have a ghost cleanser ready should they need him.

Old Hag Syndrome: The sensation of feeling held down and suffocated by an entity, usually during times of rest or sleep. Often, this "entity" manifests as an old woman, or "hag," and is a menacing presence. This is a type of paralysis dream and may or may not be related to the paranormal phenomena experienced in an area.
Paralysis Dreams: One wakes up, but cannot move for a period of time. This may be related to chemical imbalances or pressure in the brain.

Recently moved our business into this building in June 2009, and have been remodeling the building to suit our business needs.

Whistling, words on wall appeared saying "help me"

Since moving into the building in June of this year, the four people working in the company (incuding owners) and a visitor (totaling 5) have experienced hearing voices one voice and once two voices (almost like a conversation). Foot steps, moaning & crying sound, dark shadows, a full manifestation, whistling (heard by 2 people at the same time) on Aug. 5th, knocking, battery operated screw guns not working in specific area. My dog ferociously attacking a corner of the room with nothing there. This happened around 11 pm on Aug. 6th.

On the one year anniversary of death: The day of the 1 year mark, loud banging was reported throughout the building. Homeowners thought that someone was at the back door knocking to come in; possibly from outside. Reports of being followed; creaking floor boards, and possibly a disembodied voice on tape recorder reported.

The Paranormal Puck came up with several repeated words, including "Sugar". Verna is working with the Puck session. EVP did not come up with anything.

Sensitives sensed only one person this time. I believe that the area is now haunted with only one entity who is not taking control of the moment. He was young when he died, and he died as a murder. He feels guilt, particularly letting down possibly still living family members. The original death on the property is a residue. The second entity seems to have crossed over post anniversary of his death. The third, however, remains fairly strong. Complains of pain, presence still sensed in the room where he died. He was described by a sensitive who had not been on the property before, quite accurately.

Brandy: I would like to keep trying to communicate with the remaining entity. I am saddened that he is trapped in the moment. If we can convince him that he needs to own up to what happened and that it is his choice to cross over (that he should take the responsibility to cross over), I beleive that things would setle down.
