Ah, the cases that the SPIRITS have experienced are quite varied. It is amazing for us to see just how active the dead can remain in the lives of the living. This case was certainly no different. As the holidays are again approaching, this article explores the connection of family. It seems that a little thing like death does not always keep families apart.
The semantics of the investigation were quite interesting. The home owner was living with a man, an act that her conservative family would not have approved of. Her deceased grandmother was most vocal about the arraingements. The home owner was seeing shadows at night, along with swirling shapes of blackness. Both had witnessed a tennis-ball sized orb flying around the living room. Her dog had even had a negative response to several manifestations, and acted up while the SPIRITS team was there. Yet, the bulk of the activity focused on the boyfriend and it was he who most often encountered the glowing ball of light.
The home was lovely, but the sensitives were on edge. Several noted that they sensed a death on the property, which had, indeed, happened. An older woman who had owned the home prior had pined away her last days waiting for family to come and visit her. The remnant of her energy, that desperate wait for the visit that never came, remained in the front of the home.
The home owner had lost her mother to cancer years before. Sensitives honed in on a picture of a woman, unknown to any of us, hanging on the wall. One woman asked if this was her mother, and if she had died of breast cancer. The answer to both was "yes". None of this was known to us, yet her presence was clearly felt by one SPIRITS member. Her job was to continue to watch over her daughter.
The last entity that was there was the most powerful. She was the home owner's grandmother. She had died on the property and her furniture was kept intact in the master bedroom. Her presence was almost overwhelming to some. Yet, while she did communicate with sensitives, she did not manifest via video, pictures, or EVPs. Sensitives were able to give a description of the woman who was from the old world. She did not trust the boyfriend and was beside herself when he moved in.
Ironically, the next time the SPIRITS came to the home, the relationship between home owner and her boyfriend had ended. It would be interesting to note how the home owner is doing now; perhaps the change in the home has caused the ghosts to settle down.
There is one word of caution that we can learn from this: No matter what, your relatives are always with you! Enjoy the holidays....

Areas of activity: "Fairy Room" and MA bedroom. We had a small level of activity in dining room. Discussion in living room also focused on the images on the room. EMF meter responded in "Fairy Room" -- response to "is anyone in here" and confirmation. EVP session had whispers on it, sounds of movement. My recorder was left in the fairy room for an hour with the door closed.

When we did the EVP session in the fairy room, I had asked the question of "congestive heart failure".

Two people died in the location. One person sensed the homeowner's mother who died of breast cancer, and that did prove out to be true. Noticed that everyone felt the entity was a "she". Homeowner's boyfriend seems to be the target of the haunting; homeowner's grandmother, one of the two who died in the house, seems to be doing a lot of the haunting. She, according to the homeowner, would not approve. BF sees an orb (greenish) in the early morning hours moving from the areas of the family pictures. Homeowner sees orange orb. Have heard a voice call to them and say "hello" -- very clear. Comes from MA bedroom. They are not staying in the MA bedroom and have not for years. People who stay there and who do not know the history sense the ghost in the MA bedroom (which once belonged to the grandmother).

Double check noise levels in the Fairy room when door is closed.

Brandy: I was impressed with the way that the team worked. I felt as if the whole group came together to determine what was going on. Each person brought a piece of the puzzle.

Since the last time we were here:
After the investigation, things got very quiet; lasted a little over 1 month
In the past week, activity has picked up -- three times homeowner and another have heard a female voice
Aug. 8: heard whispering in the living room
Heard growling in MA bedroom and also in Fairy room (prior to the first investigation)
Boyfriend said that he heard growling post investigation
Growl sounds like an animal growl.
Investigation notes:
Note: Molly (dog) suddenly got up and went outside. Homeowner verified that this was not normal behavior. After about 1 - 2 minutes behavior subsided. Reason for activity is unknown though she got more upset as we talked about the ghostly activity.
The second entity in the hallway is not as positive; possibly male (hard to tell)
How many entities? MA bedroom, separate energy up front, Fairy room is different, front bedroom is residual; no strong personality
